COALGATE, Okla. – A suspect accused of shooting another person in the face was arrested after authorities located him during a traffic stop, reports OSBI.
Robert Stockwell was arrested on complaint of attempted murder, reports authorities, after he allegedly shot another man outside of a sports bar.
The incident reportedly started around 9 p.m. at the J&J’s Sports Bar where Stockwell was accused of using a small caliber handgun to shoot a man named Robert Buckley, 40, in the face.
Buckley then ran to a nearby convenience store, reports OSBI, where he found assistance.
Stockwell drove off from the location but was later pulled over by a Coal County deputy around 9:30 p.m. during a traffic stop. OSBI was called to the scene and after interviewing Stockwell, he was arrested.
