At 7:08 p.m. Friday evening, Pittsburg County Deputies responded to the town of Pittsburg for complaints of ATV's driving recklessly.
When Deputies arrived they observed one ATV operating illegally and attempted to make a traffic stop.
When the suspect refused to stop, deputies initiated a pursuit.
The pursuit ended when the suspect crashed the ATV and still refused to obey commands by the Deputies.
The suspect brandished a firearm, which forced the Deputies to use deadly force.
19 year-old Sayven Rowland was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has taken over this case.
