Friday evening, Bartlesville Police Officers responded to a gas station in Bartlesville near Adams and Madison.
When officers arrived they found a subject, Tyler Rollins, at the gas pumps that was wanted on two felony warrants. Police said Rollins was in car that had been reported stolen.
According to officials, when the officers approached Rollins he took off running around the gas station.
The preliminary report states that Rollins pulled a gun and both officers fired their weapons striking the suspect. Rollins was transported to a local hospital. No officers or citizens were injured during the altercation.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating the shooting.
