OSBI investigates after remains found in burned Pawnee County home

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents are investigating a suspicious death in Pawnee County on Friday.

The Pawnee County Sheriff's Office requested the OSBI's assistance after human remains were found in a burned home in the 54000 block of South 36520 Road.

A fire happened at the home on June 6, and Thursday, human remains were found in the debris. The remains have not been identified.

The Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiners, Oklahoma State Fire Marshal's Office, Pawnee County Sheriff's Office and the OSBI are at the scene.
