The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, along with Hughes County Sheriff's Office, are seeking help from the public in the search of a murder suspect.

Agents said Johnatan Merriman was shot and killed outside Pruett's Grocery Store in Holdenville on Sunday.

Officials said after a thorough, but still on-going investigation, a murder warrant was issued for Tyler Deerinwater aka Tee Ross, 27.

Deerinwater was convicted in 2010 for his involvement in the murder of a 14-year-old boy in Tulsa.

He was sentenced to 15 years in prison, but was released after nine years.

Deerinwater is considered armed and dangerous and officials ask that you don't approach him, but call the OSBI or Hughes County Sheriff's Office.
