WEBBERS FALLS, Okla. — On April 30, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) announced the arrest of Webbers Falls police chief.
Now, charges have been filed against Webber Falls Police Chief, Matthew Crittenden.
According to affidavit, Crittenden has been charged with Assault and Battery on Police Officer, Feloniously Pointing Firearm and Carrying Firearm while Under the Influence
According to a press release, Police Chief Matthew Crittenden was involved in an altercation with another officer in the department.
The altercation happening around 11:30 p.m. on April 28, OSBI says.
Another officer witnessed the altercation and contacted OSBI to investigate, which led to Crittenden's arrest, says OSBI.
OSBI says Crittenden was arrested on April 29 and facing one charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Crittenden has been booked into the Muskogee County jail, OSBI says.
