OOLOGAH, Okla. -- A former student is in custody out of state after officials said a threat was made against Oologah-Talala schools.

The police and Sheriff's Offices in the area were made aware of the threat, and schools were temporarily placed on soft lockdown procedures.

Each school site was locked down at every entrance earlier Friday, officials said. Oologah police officers were also on hand at schools.

Officials said the threat was "non-specific."
