High school teacher indicted on rape charge

OOLOGAH, Okla. – On Friday a grand jury indicted a high school teacher on one count of second degree rape in regards to accusations that she was engaging in sexual activity with a student.

Official documents show that Kathryn Wilmott is the teacher accused of having sex with an 18-year-old high school student.

Wilmott was a primarily an English teacher Oologah-Talala High School where the 18-year-old male was a student, as per the document. It goes on to say that Wilmott allegedly used the app called Snapchat to communicate with the student.

The document shows that the pair had sexual intercourse from Dec. 24, 2015 to January 8, 2016.
