TULSA--Officers respond to stab wound victim following a home armed robbery.
At 1:27am officers were assigned to the 5400 block of N. Hartford Avenue for a possible armed robbery.
According to police, the caller stated she had received a phone call from her fiancé at the location and she heard an individual in the background asking where the money was.
Officers arrived and found signs of forced entry. Officers were able to see the victim down in the home and made entry to render aid. TPD found the victim unresponsive due to multiple stab wounds.
Officers initiated first aid, including a HALO seal, in an attempt to assist the victim while EMSA was responding to the scene.
EMSA transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition. Crime Scene units responded to the scene to process it for evidence. Officers say they have not been able to formally interview the victim for additional information due to him receiving medical treatment.
