TULSA - A house fire in north Tulsa on Saturday afternoon has sent one person to the hospital.
Tulsa Fire Department responded to a call to the 4800 block of N. Birmingham Pl. around 1:30 p.m. where flames were coming from the roof.
There was extensive damage to the house, but officials say everyone was able to get out of the house. Still, one person was treated at the scene and transported to Hillcrest Medical Center in emergent condition.
A woman living in the home with her boy friend tells Two Works For You she was doing laundry when the house went up in flames. They both ran outside, but she says her boy friend went back inside to grab the car keys. He suffered from burns and smoke inhalation.
