One person shot in northeast Tulsa at Quik Trip

Tulsa police investigated a person being shot by a security guard at a northeast Tulsa Quik Trip.

Police said the shooting happened in the 7800 block of East Admiral when a suspect assaulted a security guard, who then fired on the suspect, hitting him twice.

EMSA tells 2 Works for You that one patient was transported in emergent condition.

Officers say the man was shot in the torso and ran out of the store after being hit. The security guard was unharmed, according to TPD. Police believe security guard was contracted out and not employee of QT.
