TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police, fire and EMSA are on the scene of a police chase that ended in a crash in north Tulsa.
It happened just before noon near North Osage Drive and 36th Street North. Police say the chase ended when a car crashed into a tree. Officials said the crash pinned one person in the car while another person was thrown from the car. Tulsa fire helped get the person pinned out of the car and both were taken to a hospital. A third person also in the car got out of the care on their own.
Police said the chase started near 3600 N. Cincinnati and reached speeds of 80 m.p.h. before TPD ended the chase out of safety concerns. TPD said the driver kept going and they later found the crash sight.
Drivers should avoid the area--- FIND ALTERNATE ROUTE.
