Police arrest man in connection with Tulsa's 80th homicide

UPDATE: 

Tulsa Police say David Joseph Scott was arrested in connection with the shooting death of 33-year-old Temp Lloyd Burdick.

According to TPD, Burdick was shot in the face after a five-block car chase that ended Monday at E Virgin St and N Columbia Pl.

Homicide detectives told 2 Works For You Monday night that they learned Burdick and Scott got into an argument about Burdick being abusive to women.

Tulsa Police said patrol officers and a K9 unit arrested Scott without incident.

Scott was booked on 2nd Degree Murder charge.

TULSA--One man is shot in north Tulsa and police are searching for the shooter. 

EMSA transported the victim to the hospital where he died. 

Tulsa Police tell us that someone shot a man at the 2000 block of North Columbia Place. 

TPD say the man was shot in the head about 2pm Monday.
