A man is expected to recover after driving his car into a pole, Monday night.
Police say the wreck happened at the intersection of 81st Street and South Sheridan Avenue. They say the man may have been involved in a road rage incident, sped through the intersection and swerved into the pole.
The man was immediately transported to a nearby hospital. His current condition is unknown, but police expect him to survive.
A portion of the intersection was closed off while fire crews worked to remove the car.
