PITTSBURG COUNTY--One person died after a traffic accident in Pittsburg County.
Troopers say it happened on State Highway 31 about 5:30am Wednesday just three miles north and four and a half miles east of Krebs in Pittsburg County.
Troopers say Carlos Martinez of Lancaster, TX was driving a Volvo when it stalled in the roadway and a Freightliner rammed into the back of it.
Krebs Fire Department freed Martinez using the Hurst tool after he was pinned for 10 minutes. Martinez sustained multiple injuries and died at the hospital.
The driver of the Freightliner was treated and released with a head injury. No citations were issued.
