WELCH, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 5-year-old Miami girl has been killed and two other girls were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Craig County.
The girls' names were not released.
The crash occurred just before 10 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of two county roads near Welch.
An OHP report says the girls were passengers in a sport utility vehicle that overturned after it was struck in the driver's side by a SUV that failed to stop at the intersection. Each of the three girls were thrown from the SUV and the injured girls, one 6-years-old and the other 9-years-old, are hospitalized.
Neither driver was injured.
