TULSA -- A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in the westbound lanes of the Broken Arrow Expressway on Friday morning.

Tulsa police said at 9:45 a.m., they received a call in which the driver of a brown Dodge Ram pickup was shooting at the driver of a black Toyota car.

The citizen who alerted police to the situation advised that the driver of the pickup was at 1100 South Utica after the incident.

The driver of the truck, identified as Johnny Johnson, 41, was stopped by police and arrested on various drug and gun counts. Police said he had marijuana and a pistol inside his vehicle.

Police said there may have been an incident in which the female driver of the Toyota cut off Johnston's truck, which began a high-speed highway chase. Johnston eventually fired shots at the Toyota on the expressway near Highway 169, police said.

Police do not known if any of the shots hit the Toyota, and they are asking the driver of that vehicle to call TPD at 918-798-8477.
