TULSA -- One person was hurt and another was arrested after a stabbing in west Tulsa overnight.

Police responded to the Sandy Park Apartments near 65th West Avenue and Charles Page Boulevard at about 2 a.m.

Police said they found a person with wounds to his face in addition to the suspect, Christopher Smith.

Police said a fight broke out when Smith discovered his SIM card missing from his phone. Police said Smith went to the alleged victim's apartment and started hitting the door with a cement block.

The alleged victim and his son eventually came outside and the fight escalated, police said.

Smith was booked into jail on a complaint of assault with a dangerous weapon.

The person who was stabbed is expected to be OK, officials said.
