When a restaurant's been around for 40 years, you know it must be doing something right.

Ollie's Station Restaurant serves up old favorites and surrounds the chicken fry and omelets with plenty of trains.

The trains always run on time along with the walls and across the ceilings.

The roar of tiny engines has been a constant in Brandi Slaton's day for more than half her life now.

She's been a server at Ollie's for 18 years, starting when she was still in high school.

Ollie's is a fun place for the kids to watch the trains and cable cars and blimps hanging high overhead.

And plates that promise no surprises.

Ollie's had a five year run in Prattville.

But for the past 35 years, it's been here on the corner in west Tulsa, right next to the train tracks that give it its decorating theme.

Ollie's is open every day of the week at 6:30 in the morning, over on southwest boulevard.
