Authorities recover stolen Liberty fire truck

OKMULGEE COUNTY, Okla. — A fire truck from a volunteer fire station was recovered after it was stolen early Thursday.

Investigators said a Ford F-350 was stolen from the Liberty Volunteer Fire Department at approximately 8 a.m.

The stolen truck was captured on surveillance video at a residence, just north of Haskell in Muskogee County, driving through a gate before being used to break into a residence, investigators said.

Wagoner County deputies located it in the Porter/Redbird area by afternoon. No other details have been released.
