OKMULGEE, Okla. – Authorities are investigating human remains found this week to determine the identity and whether or not it could be linked to the recent disappearance of one man.
The search for Joshua Pascale is ongoing, says Okmulgee police, but they have not confirmed if the remains found could be linked to the Pascale investigation.
Two rural locations were searched and remains from a single individual were found at both locations, say Okmulgee police.
No identification has been determined and the remains were transported to the medical examiner for examination and identification.
While police are still waiting to have the final determination of death, they are currently treating the investigation as a homicide.
Additional information is not being released to protect the ongoing investigation.
