Three Oklahoma State University students trekked across the globe with only a popular energy drink as their means of currency.
The Oklahomies, Lexie Davidson, Maggie Rahhal and Rylie Carter, traveled to four destinations as part of a worldwide adventure campaign presented by Red Bull. The women, all of whom are Oklahoma State University students, worked together to travel around 1,475 miles.
Red Bull’s campaign called “The Adventure of a Lifetime” selected teams from around to world to be dropped off at a starting point with only a smartphone and 24 cans of Red Bull. According to Red Bull’s website, the teams were forced to barter for food, lodging and transportation only using the energy drink.

First place in the competition, which ended April 19, is a group of three men from Tallinn University of Technology.
