Oklahoma voters head to the polls Tuesday

All but two counties in Oklahoma will head to the polls on Tuesday.

Seventy-five of 77 counties have elections today.

City council seats in Bixby, Jenks, Broken Arrow, Okmulgee, Beggs, Glenpool and Skiatook will be up for grabs. Only a handful of the incumbents are re-running.

A run off will take place in Pryor Creek to determine who will take over for long time Mayor Jimmy Tramel.

Catoosa will also have a new mayor at the end of the day. Mayor Brenda Conley is not listed on the ballot.

City of Tulsa voters will decide on a board member for both Tulsa Tech and Tulsa Public Schools.

The Claremore Mayor race is catching a lot of attention. Current Mayor Bill Flanagan will fight to keep his seat against 19-year old Kurt Levan.

"My first priority if elected would be to launch an investigation into the city's high electric rates," Levan said. "My second is improving and modernizing our infrastructure around railroad tracks."

"We look for the interest of the city, not necessarily the interest of the individual and that's what we have working now and it's working," Mayor Flanagan said.

The polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Voters should bring their I.D.
