CHEROKEE COUNTY, Okla. -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into an alleged sexual assault that took place at the Diamondhead Resort Saturday.
Authorities arrested Nathan Webb, 40, Sunday for aggravated assault and battery. Police say Webb is the boyfriend of the victim.
The Oklahoma Scenic Rivers Commission confirmed Sunday evening that the victim is a 34-year-old woman from Arkansas.
The commission says she was assaulted Saturday at the Diamondhead Resort. The victim is said to be in critical condition and was airlifted to a Fayetville hospital.
