Three Oklahoma Representatives are looking into several aspects of charter school funding.

State Reps. Zack Taylor, Lundy Kiger, and Randy Randleman are hosting two studies that will look into brick-and-mortar school funding, and the real cost per student for virtual schools vs. brick-and-mortar schools.

Kiger and Randleman will also host a third study that examines charter school sponsor oversight responsibilities.

Randleman says he is authoring the study to make sure the public understands how taxpayers spend money on all public education options.

All three studies will take place Wednesday, September 11, in the State Capitol before the House Common Education Committee.
