A recently published study ranks Oklahoma as the third most dangerous state in the country to drive in.

YourMechanic.com ranked states based on driver skills, car theft rate, most aggressive drivers, average driver speed, and more.

Oklahoma came in third behind New Mexico and Louisiana.

The study cited Oklahoma's poor road conditions, high levels of aggressive driving and high average driver speed and speed limits.

The safest state in the country to drive in, according to the study, is Vermont.
