Oklahoma Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond is being featured on the cover of this week's issue of "People" magazine.
Drummond is featured for her new eight-room boutique hotel in Pawhuska. She credits the Boarding House, to her business partner and husband, Ladd.
“I really trust his opinion,” she says. Still, when Ladd suggested opening a hotel, she was skeptical. “At first I thought, ‘Let me sleep on it.’ Then he broke ground while I was asleep.”
Within 30 minutes of opening for reservations, rooms at the Boarding House were booked for six months in advance.
Drummond lives on a Pawhuska ranch with her husband.
