Posted
and last updated

Two Oklahoma nonprofits committed to helping people living with hearing and vision loss are celebrating a new milestone.

Hearts Hearing and NewView Oklahoma now have brand new facilities. NewView Oklahoma helps people who are blind or visually impaired get jobs and gain independence, while Hearts for Hearing helps children and adults with hearing loss hear and talk.

"I think this is the first time in a long time where two organizations that work with individuals with sensory deprivation are in the same space," said Joanna Smith, CEO for Hearts for Hearing. "So we are delighted to be here with our new partners."

The clinics are located at East 31st Street and South Hudson.
