On Thursday, a federal court sentenced an Oklahoma man to life in prison for abusing his stepdaughter.

Henri Piette was sentenced to life in prison and an additional 360 months based on two counts, according to U.S. attorney Brian J. Kuester. Both sentences will run incongruently.

Last year, Piette was found guilty of kidnapping and "travel with intent to engage in a sexual act with a child."

Piette kidnapped his stepdaughter, raped her and married her against her will. He has nine children with his stepdaughter.
