MUSKOGEE, Okla. — An Oklahoma inmate is charged with first degree murder in connection to the death of 2-year-old Ja'Cion Logan-Ragsdale.

C.L. Johnson is accused of paying Ezzard Onebear to shoot Cassandra Logan in 2011, according to the Muskogee Coounty Sheriff's Office. But instead of hitting Logan, Onebear shot and killed a toddler.

Onebear confessed to fatally shooting the toddler and was convicted of murder in 2015.

Johnson has been charged for paying Onebear for the shooting, driving Onebear to the residence and helping him escape.

Johnson is currently in prison for drug trafficking and possession of a fire arm.
