2 Works For You learned Senator James Lankford and Fourth District Representative Tom Cole were on the GOP-chartered train from Washington, D.C. to West Virginia Wednesday.
Both reported that they were uninjured, but Senator Lankford said he like many others were jolted when the train collided with a garbage truck outside Charlottesville, Va.
Our train heading to the GOP Retreat in West Virginia has been involved in an accident. I am safe but first responders are treating minor injuries on the train & treating the truck drivers. Praying....
