It's a big milestone to reach 50-years of marriage. However, one Oklahoma couple went way beyond that. They're celebrating their 70-year anniversary.
Rod and Wanda Rodriguez from Krebs were married Jan. 20, 1950. The couple wed in Fort Smith, Arkansas and now have seven children.
They celebrated the milestone with a party this weekend, and reflected on the secret of staying together so long.
"You just got to love each other, and put up with each other and excuse the faults," Wanda said. Then Rod added, "But I have to tell you. 70 years has been easy."
Their daughter says she isn't even sure how many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren are now in the family.
