Charges have been filed against a former Brushy Public Schools coach who is accused of sending inappropriate messages to a student over Christmas break.
Investigators say they were interviewing a student about a bullying incident when she told them her friend and coach, Greg McCoy, were exchanging inappropriate messages.
Police say the victim told them she had received inappropriate photos and messages from McCoy.
The school says McCoy resigned after he was questioned by police.
Police say McCoy is charged with lewd molestation and soliciting sexual conduct with a minor.
