OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett has named every day in the calendar as "Russell Westbrook Day."
"Now, therefore, I, Mick Cornett, Mayor of The City of Oklahoma City, do hereby proclaim EVERY DAY as Russell Westbrook Day," the proclamation read.

The proclamation comes after Westbrook signed a five-year, $205 million extension with the team on Friday.
Aug. 4 had last year been named as "Russell Westbrook Day" by the mayor.
