OKLAHOMA CITY — Attorney General Mike Hunter today will announce the details of a lawsuit against several of the nation’s leading opioid distributors for the alleged role the companies played in fueling the opioid epidemic.

The announcement will be made Monday, Jan. 13, at 2:30 p.m. at the Attorney General’s Office in Oklahoma City.

In a related story, Oklahoma's attorney general Mike Hunter said the state reached a $8.75 million settlement with Endo Pharmaceuticals.

The attorney general's office says most of that money will go in a fund until legislators pass bills on how to distribute the money.
