TULSA — Officials with the Oklahoma Alliance for Healthy Families will be releasing the recent public polling regarding the attitudes of Oklahomans about vaccinations.
Dr. Bruce Dart and other medical professionals will be speaking about the increase in misinformation about vaccines, which is believed to be driving an increase in the number of measles cases in America.
The conference will be at the Tulsa Health Department at 11 a.m. on Tues., Nov. 26.
Officials say, "2019 saw the largest number of confirmed cases of measles since 1994, with 1,250 cases reported as of Oct. 3. The outbreak is attributed largely to parents who choose not to vaccinate their children."
