OKLAHOMA CITY — Retirement home residents in Oklahoma City receive quite the surprise this week.
The community gathered together to put on a drive-thru parade for the Meadowlake Retirement Village.
Family, friends, staff and facility supporters held the parade to show support for the residents during the coronavirus pandemic.
“We are so thankful to everyone that showed love and support for our community,” said Cara Northcutt, Executive Director of MEADOWLAKE Retirement Village. “The residents were able to enjoy some fresh air, maintaining their social distances, but still able to see their loved ones!! It was just perfect!”
