Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials say they are working an injury accident involving a semi-truck and a car on Interstate 44 near Lewis Avenue on Thursday afternoon.
The accident is in the eastbound lanes and one lane of traffic is still blocked, troopers said.
Officials said one person was in the car, but they were able to get them out.
Officials said the person inside the car suffered serious injuries, but they were conscious and transported to a local hospital.
Officials said the driver of the car was speeding on the shoulder of the highway before the crash occurred.
