A woman is in custody after breaking into a toll booth in an attempt to rob the attendant on Thursday morning.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the woman was reportedly intoxicated when she used a tire iron to break the window of the booth located at the west end of the Cherokee Turnpike.
Initially the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that a woman barricaded herself in the toll booth.
EMSA responded to tend to the attendant at the toll booth located just outside of Delaware County but is reportedly not seriously injured, says OHP.
