LINCOLN COUNTY, Okla. — A Tulsa woman is facing a manslaughter charge after a deadly accident near Stroud, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers say 26-year-old Candice Conley was driving 100 miles per hour on the Turner Turnpike when she crashed into the back of 21-year-old Mercedes Tyler’s SUV, killing her.
Conley kept driving before realizing her own car was on fire, troopers said. She pulled over, took all her clothes off and ran half a mile before deputies caught up to her.
Authorities haven't said if she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
