TULSA - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is asking the public for its help in finding the driver of a black vehicle involved in a fatal crash.
At about 3:45 p.m. on Nov. 2, troopers say a collision occurred in the eastbound lane of Highway 51 at Coyote Corner (265th West Avenue) in Tulsa County that resulted in a fatality.
The OHP report says the collision occurred when a black car made a lane change into the path of a white GMC Envoy driven by Mathew Christopher Richards. Richards was taken to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa with critical injuries. He passed away from those injuries on Nov. 9.
The OHP says witnesses stated that the black car made a U-turn after the lane change and traveled back to the west toward Mannford, leaving the scene. The OHP would like to interview the driver of the black car or anyone else who might have information regarding this fatal traffic collision.
Anyone with information may contact the OHP by calling 1-866-OHP-TIPS or emailing OHPTips@dps.ok.gov
