OHP: Roads on SH-51 near Oneta reopened after wreck where vehicle was reportedly on fire

WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. – The roads on SH-51 were temporarily closed Wednesday after reports of a wreck possibly involving a vehicle fire.

Initially, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that they were assisting the Broken Arrow Police Department with an injury wreck in Oneta involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle that was allegedly on fire.

Around two hours after the initial report at 6:30 a.m., OHP reported that the roadway was reopened and the wreck “did not include a commercial vehicle” as first reported.
