THE VILLAGE, Okla. — The Village Police Department is searching for a missing elderly man.
Police said 84-year-old William Powell went missing on foot round 2 p.m. Monday in Oklahoma City near North Pennsylvania and West Hefner Road.
Authorities described Powell as a black man with gray hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, dark jeans, dark button down shirt, dark shoes and a black beanie.
Police said Powell has been diagnosed with dementia. They said although he can become extremely confused, he will answer to his name.
