SALINA, Okla. - The body of a woman who was recently reported missing was located just south of Salina Thursday.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Amy Edwards was discovered inside a car found in Lake Hudson near Highway 82.
Troopers believe the vehicle was fully submerged until enough water was released from the lake by the Grand River Dam Authority. The hatchback of the car was lifted making it visible to other drivers. Officials responded to the scene immediately after a 911 call from a passerby.
