OWASSO, Okla. -- Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly crash Wednesday afternoon east of Skiatook.
The crash was reported at about 2:50 p.m. at Highway 20 and Highway 75, in between Skiatook and Collinsville. OHP officials said two people died in the wreck.
According to an OHP accident report, the driver of a 2004 Ford van attempted to enter SH-20 from North Yale Avenue, failed to yield to a stop sign and was struck by a vehicle headed eastbound on SH-20.
The victims in the crash were identified as Charles Poe, 63, of Bluejacket, and Sandra Poe, 65, of Bluejacket.
