SKIATOOK — According to City of Skiatook officials, Skiatook's mayor, Roger Upton, passed away on Saturday, September 14.
According to the Sien Shelton Funeral Home website, Upton's obituary states that Upton passed away surrounded by friends and family at his Skiatook home.
Upton's Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, September 19 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church West Rogers Campus.
The obituary states, "In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in the memory of Roger Upton. Those who wish to contribute in his memory may do so to the RCB Bank College Fund for his sons. You may contribute by sending the memorial donations to the bank or you may go to any of the RCB Banks locations."
