Officials name victims of disposal site explosion near Enid

ENID, Okla. — Authorities have released the names of a man killed and another wounded in an explosion at a salt water disposal site in northern Oklahoma earlier this week.

The incident happened southwest of Enid on Monday night. The Enid News & Eagle reports the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office family assistance coordinator Eddie Johnson says the deceased is 32-year-old Javier Varraza.

Johnson stated blunt force head trauma was the cause of the accidental death.

The injured man's name is Randall Fite.
