The Oklahoma Corporation Commission released on Thursday the new area code that will be added to 19 central Oklahoma counties.
Officials with The Oklahoma Corporation Commission were notified by The North American Numbering Plan Administrator that the area code 572 will be added to the area served by the 405 area code.

Then, next January, you'll have to dial 10 digits, including the area code and the seven-digit number in Oklahoma City and other parts of central Oklahoma.
