The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is canceling visitation at six prisons through the weekend.

The DOC says the cancellations are related to the statewide prison lockdown Monday night, after a disturbance involving inmates at the Mack Alford Correctional Center in Atoka County.

Visitation is canceled at three state prisons and three private prisons, which include North Fork Correctional Center in Sayre, Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy, Mack Alford Correctional Center in Stringtown, Cimarron Correctional Facility in Cushing, Davis Correctional Facility in Holdenville, and Lawton Correctional & Rehabilitation Facility.
