All state prisons are no longer on lockdown, according to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
Limited visitation will be reinstated this weekend at several correctional facilities, including the North Fork Correctional Center, Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy and Mack Alford Correctional Center in Atoka. Also, private prisons, like Davis, Cimarron and Lawton correctional facilities will also have visitation this weekend.
If no incidents take place, Oklahoma Department of Corrections may put its remaining facilities on normal operations, officials said.
ODOC locked down all prisons after gang fights last month hospitalized 36 inmates and killed one. No further incidents related to the fights took place after the lockdown began Sept. 15.
As CCF, LCF, DCF, NFCC, DCCC and MACC are on limited visitation this weekend, family members or loved ones wanting to visit individuals at NFCC, DCCC and MACC should call the facility before traveling to be sure the inmate can visit this weekend, officials said.
